Appointment of National Chancellor of Malaysia



We are pleased to announce the appointment of Haji Syed Araniri Bin Syed Ahmad Al Idrus , age 44 as the  IAEWP National Chancellor of Malaysia and as a distinguished member of IAEWP International Liaison for  Disaster Relief Mission for ASEAN and Palestine.

He is a graduate in Islamic Coaching and Counseling at Bachelor degree level with Honors ( Cum laude ) and the winner of Dean’s Award from University Islam Negeri Sultan Sharif Qasim, Riau, Indonesia in 2004.

In 2004, he was awarded the BEST TRAINER award from the National Institute of Youth Leadership of Malaysia. From 2004-2006 he was the Deputy Director for National Patriotic Bureau  for the State of Perlis under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister’s Department, Malaysia.

He also holds Arabic Language Proficiency Specialization Certification with Distinction from University Islam Madinah, Saudi Arabia, 1996. Prior to that he had gained Islamic Contemporary Studies from Lembaga Dakwah Islamiah Jakarta, Indonesia.

In 2006, he was awarded Excellence Service Award from His Majesty the King of Malaysia.

In 2010 he gained the Diploma of Honour from The International Association of Educator for World Peace, Alabama, USA for his contribution towards the success of 18th IAEWP World Peace Congress in Malaysia, 2008. He was also the founding member of the Malaysian IAEWP in 2010.

Previously he had served as the  IAEWP Vice National Chancellor of Malaysia ( 2006-2008 ), the IAEWP National Chancellor of Malaysia ( 2008-2010 ) as well as the Special Consultant at IAEWP World Board ( 2008-2010). He resigned from  his IAEWP positions to enter active politics in Malaysia, actively campaigning with the opposition for a change of  the then government.

Syed Araniri is back with IAEWP to be actively involved in calling for the organizing of IAEWP Peace congresses in the region, under the auspices of the new government in Malaysia.

From 2004-2014, he  has been the State of Perlis, Malaysia representative to the autonomous State of Acheh Indonesia for Tsunami Disaster Relief  Mission.

He now heads as the Malaysian Chief Representative for IAEWP  Disaster Relief Mission to Association of South East Asian Nations and Palestine.
